2011 Jono joins Stoke FC

BYSC is very please for Jonothan Camilleri has been offered a Scholarship with Stoke F.C. Academy. in England.

Jono joined up with our BYSC development program in 2008 and trained with us for 3 years until the end of 2010.

This was a huge commitment for Jono and his family as they live on the Gold Coast and had to travel to the North Side of Brisbane to O'Callaghan Park in Zillmere where we train.

At the time, Jono and his parents believed Brisbane Youth Soccer Clinics were providing a great program to develop young players. This decision proved to be the right one.

When Jono started with the BYSC development Program,  he was small and a late developer with a lot of work ahead of him.  He was no better than the players around him, however he did show commitment, persistence and desire to improve and to achieve his goals. This was highlighted with his commitment to travel, his determination and attitude towards training.

He toured England with "BYSC" England Tours in 2008 and 2009 training with Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton. Jono also travelled on his own to England in 2010 training with Sheffield Wednesday and Chesterfield. All the time gaining valuable knowledge and experience on what
it takes to play at the highest level.

We believe BYSC are providing the right platform for our players to excel and realise their dreams.

Brisbane Youth Soccer Clinics, wishes Jono all the success with his football Journey.
